Pharmacy Residency Preceptors
Alison is a clinical pharmacist at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She achieved her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Sciences Emphasis and Doctor of Pharmacy, with honors, from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in Saint Louis, Missouri. After pharmacy school, she decided to expand upon her clinical knowledge by completing a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and later became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. At Valley Baptist, Alison serves as preceptor for residents in the Internal Medicine rotation and for students in the Internal Medicine rotation and for students in the Hospital/Health Systems Pharmacy rotation. Alison’s areas of interest include internal medicine, nutrition, and oncology.
